1. Our Role as an Intermediary

Buyers Playground operates exclusively as a classifieds advertising platform. We facilitate the connection between independent buyers and sellers in Guyana and the Caribbean region.

We do not:

• Own, inspect, or sell any items listed on the site.

• Handle payments, logistics, shipping, or item fulfillment.

• Provide warranties or guarantees on the quality or condition of any items.

2. Policy on Transactions

All transactions, agreements, and exchanges are conducted solely and directly between the buyer and the seller.

• Buyers Playground is not responsible for fulfilling returns, processing refunds, or mediating disputes between parties regarding the condition, quality, or authenticity of any item sold or purchased through the Services.

3. Buyer Responsibility

• Inspection: Buyers are strongly advised to thoroughly inspect the item before purchase and payment.

• Agreement: Any expectations regarding returns, refunds, or exchanges must be agreed upon in writing (e.g., via email or messaging) between the buyer and the seller prior to finalizing the transaction.

• “As Is” Sales: Unless a return agreement is explicitly made between the parties, all sales conducted through the platform should be considered final and “as is.”

4. Seller Responsibility

• Sellers are expected to accurately describe their item(s) in their listing.

• If a seller agrees to a refund or return, it is the seller’s responsibility to adhere to that agreement and process the return/refund privately with the buyer.

5. Fraudulent or Illegal Activity

While we do not mediate transactional disputes, we take fraud and illegal activity seriously.

• If you believe a transaction involved a scam or illegal activity, please report the ad and user immediately using the “Report Ad” feature.

• For financial loss or crime, you must contact your local law enforcement authority in your jurisdiction (e.g., Guyana Police Force or relevant Caribbean territory police).

6. Fees and Refunds (Platform Use Only)

This section applies only to fees paid to Buyers Playground for optional premium services (e.g., “Featured Ad,” boosting).

• Fees paid for listing upgrades or promotional services are generally non-refundable, regardless of whether the item sells or the ad is removed. Exceptions may apply if the Service was not provided due to a technical error on our part.
